The Spirit of Samson – tackling self-absorption

Welcome to this second section of the spirit of Samson (click here for the intro to this topic, where we discussed similarities between Samson and believers in Jesus.) As we look at the 10 points that underlie the spirit of Samson, keep in mind:

  • they apply to men and women (I will use he/she interchangeably)
  • they apply to kids, adults, and the elderly.

1 – GOD’S CALLING

The Samson in your life is called to be set apart to God. He has a divine directive or calling from God. This is likely marked by clear, sometimes unusual spiritual circumstances surrounding certain aspects of his life. This calling is evident to and affects significant others around them. He is remarkably gifted or talented in specific areas in life.

Please answer all or some of these questions in the comments section.

  • What is your Samson’s calling? What do people say your calling is?
  • How is he gifted or talented? What do people comment on regarding your gifting?
  • How would his calling affect you?
  • What unusual circumstances surround his salvation or yours?
